Even after entering middle school, Yuuka still hadn’t stopped clinging to me, hugging me, or rubbing her cheek against mine.

By the time we reached middle school, everyone had grown in various ways.

First, Kouhei had grown into a really handsome guy, standing at 180 cm tall—way too tall for a third-year middle schooler. He and Kaori had officially started dating after entering middle school, and since they were mutually in love, the atmosphere between them was sometimes so sweet it made you feel sick.

Next, Kaori, who had always had a pretty face, had grown into a beautiful young woman. Her black hair was straight and elegant, perfectly fitting the image of a Yamato Nadeshiko. Not just her height, but everything about her had developed. She stood at 170 cm, which was very tall for a girl, and her figure had become distinctly feminine. She once whispered in my ear that she had an E-cup.

Yuuka, on the other hand, remained small even in middle school, standing at just 142 cm.

However, she had always been a beautiful little girl, so her facial features were well-defined, and everyone called her the “Ice Fairy”.

The reason for this nickname was that she was extremely popular among the boys, and rumors spread that she wasn’t dating anyone. This led to a flood of confessions, but every one of them ended with her giving a cold look and walking away without even answering. The girls had witnessed this happen many times.

But the girls also saw how Yuuka interacted with me—talking to me, showing physical affection—and because of that, they knew that no one else stood a chance with her. I heard from Kaori that they pitied those who tried.

Apparently, there were even some guys who, after being rejected, badmouthed me, saying things like they were better than me. But the moment they said that, they were met with a straight-up punch to the face.

Putting that aside, I wonder if all her nutrition had gone to her chest—because for someone so short, her breasts were way too big.

According to what I heard from Kaori, she had a G cup, though it was apparently starting to feel tight.

I always had that overwhelming presence pressing into my back, slowly chipping away at my self-control.

She didn’t seem to be aware of it herself, but I wanted to punch my past self who thought things would settle down once puberty hit.

I once asked her to stop clinging and rubbing her cheek against me, but she gave me a face like it was the end of the world, and her eyes welled up with tears.

The moment I said, “Forget I said that,” she hugged me tightly and rubbed her cheek against mine again.

When the other guys saw that, they looked at me with jealous eyes—probably why I didn’t have many friends.

After we had safely passed our high school entrance exams, it was decided that we’d be attending the same high school. Since Yuuka’s parents had ordered a cake to celebrate and were going out to pick it up, my parents and I had Yuuka come over to our place so that we could look after her while we waited.

Some time later, the phone rang at our place. When I answered, it was the hospital.

They told me that Yuuka’s parents had been involved in an accident.
