Once the rice cooking activity was finished and the cleanup was done, Lia-sensei gave the next instruction.

“Alright everyone, once your group has finished cleaning up, please return to the bus. We’ll be doing a final check, so don’t go back on your own judgment.” (Lia)

Following her instructions, we completed the check and returned to the bus.

“The curry was really good.” (Kouhei)

We were among the first to return.

That was because I usually handled the cleanup myself, so I was able to do it efficiently.

“But now that I’m full, I’m getting sleepy.” (Kouhei)

Kouhei let out a yawn.

“Then Kouhei, want to lean on me and sleep?” (Kaori)

Kaori suggested that to Kouhei.

“Alright, I think I will. Thanks.” (Kouhei)

Saying that, Kouhei sat in his seat and began his nap using Kaori’s shoulder.

Yuuka, Kaneki-kun, Kanemoto-san, and I must’ve felt the same, because we all returned to our seats and started dozing off.

The next thing that brought me back to consciousness was someone whispering something near my ear.

“Stupid couple~ Time to wake up~ If you don’t wake up soon, you’ll face the Iron Fist of Justice~” (?)

From such a soothing voice came an outrageous threat, and I opened my eyes in surprise.

In front of me stood Lia-sensei, smiling brightly.

“Finally awake~ We’ve arrived at the lodging site, so please get off the bus~” (Lia)

With that, she then moved on to wake up Yuuka.

“Lovey-dovey couple, wake up! If you don’t get up, I’ll take away someone important to you.” (Lia)

That was whispered right in her ear.

The next moment, Yuuka woke up, hugged me tightly, and threatened Lia-sensei.

“You finally woke up. Don’t worry, sensei doesn’t have that kind of hobby. Sensei has someone important too, you know.” (Lia)

Saying that, she went on to wake Kaori and Kouhei.

Both of them immediately woke up, trembling in fear.

Kaneki-kun and Kanemoto-san had already gotten off, so we were the last ones.

“Kouhei, what did the teacher say to wake you up?” (Yuuto)

I couldn’t help but be curious.

“She said, ‘Lovey-dovey couple, wake up! If you don’t, your girlfriend will never wake up,’ and seriously, I woke up in an instant.” (Kouhei)

That must have been nothing but terrifying.

“I had a similar experience. She told me, ‘If you don’t wake up soon, I’ll train your boyfriend and turn him into a pet!’ That was bad for my heart.” (Kaori)

Everyone was sweating nervously as we got off the bus.

We all vowed never to make the teacher angry again from now on.
