SHCF – Chapter 39 – Vampiramtl

We hurriedly got off the bus, and all our classmates were waiting.

“Now that everyone is here, let me explain—this is the hotel where you all will be staying today. Our school has the entire place reserved, but please be sure not to cause any trouble for the hotel staff. Also, you have free time until dinner.” (Lia)

After Lia-sensei’s explanation, we headed toward our rooms.

The rooms were for three people, but if we tried hard, we could probably fit four.

“Man, I’m tired. I didn’t expect cooking over the open fire to take this much out of me.” (Yuuto)

I said while rolling my shoulders.

“It can’t be helped if you don’t usually exercise.” (Kouhei)

“I know that, but still, it’s just a hassle, you know?” (Yuuto)

Kouhei looked at me with a bit of disbelief.

“Well, let’s leave that talk for later and head to the bath for now.” (Tomoya)

At Kaneki-kun’s words, we headed toward the bath.

This hotel had hot springs, and I had been really looking forward to them.

Then, we ran into Yuuka and the other girls at the lobby.

“Are you girls going to the bath too? Why don’t we walk there together?” (Kouhei)

At Kouhei’s invitation, the three of them nodded.

As we walked, chatting about trivial things, we soon arrived at the bathhouse.

“All right, I’m going in. See you later.” (Yuuto)

I said this and was about to go through the noren curtain when Yuuka grabbed my hand.

“What’s wrong, Yuuka? Did something happen?” (Yuuto)

When I asked, Yuuka pointed at a certain place.

There was a sign that said “Family Bath.”

“Huh, this hotel even has something like that?” (Yuuto)

I thought it was unusual, and just then Yuuka pushed me from behind, trying to head toward the family bath.

“Yuuka, this is really not okay. A mixed bath is impossible. We came here for the high school orientation, so we can’t bathe together.” (Yuuto)

I told Yuuka that, but—

“It’s fine as long as we don’t get caught, so let’s go in.” (Yuuka)

Her strength was probably twice her usual self.

“Kaori, Kaori, help me!” (Yuuto)

I called Kaori over.

“Yuuto, Yuuka-chan disappeared—what’s going on?” (Kaori)

Kaori was surprised to see Yuuka and me pulling back and forth.

Then Yuuka pointed toward the family bath.

“Ah, I see. Sorry, Yuuka-chan, but you can’t go in there, so let’s go into the women’s bath together.” (Kaori)

Kaori said that and picked Yuuka up.

Yuuka struggled and shouted no, but since it was the usual thing, Kaori was used to handling it, so she quickly took Yuuka off to the women’s bath.

I finally thought I could relax and entered the men’s bath.
